Yes we can! And... we did just that today.
Took the day off from sight seeing and went to the beach. It was a perfect day - fish jumping out of the water (something I have never seen before - nearly sent Caleb running for the hills the first time)
We spent a lot of time sitting or lounging in the water like beached whales - not very attractive I know - digging your hands into the sand and finding shells. Perfect, beautiful shells. Can't remember the last time I have seen shells on a beach.

When we came off the beach we thought we would have lunch somewhere, as my spot Ooh La La thought that it was in their best interests to hire the restaurant out to a corporate team building and not to serve us mere mortals. Caleb missed a step and grazed his knee in the process and we decided to then just sit down somewhere, have something to drink. We got served from the fridges - and Caleb got a plaster.
The people in the village where we stay tends to be very friendly and helpful, unlike some of the other rude oafs we have come across so far.
